Account Manager

Irvine, California, United States | Full-time | Partially remote


Vincit is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Irvine team that will take on our beloved clients and help them grow their business while we grow ours. We’re ready to move fast, and fast paced is what we’re looking for. 

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of key clients, operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the customers to build long-term relationships and develop and implement effective initiatives on behalf of the customer. 


The Role

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Pitching fresh and innovative ideas to clients
  • Identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results, annual forecasts)
  • Prompt and receive client feedback regularly
  • Provide updates on account status weekly and monthly
  • Be the liaison between teams to ensure performance across all projects and alignment with customer expectations
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify and grow opportunities within market and product segments
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Use your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team, and the agency in the most productive directions


Necessary Experience

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive, Salesforce or HubSpot) 
  • An awareness of creative processes and technical applications – including digital platforms
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
